Our History
Founded in 1969 by A.D. Sonbert, Sonbert Security Systems, Inc. has built its reputation on understanding customers’ needs and designing security systems to meet them. Based in Winston-Salem, we have grown to serve homes and businesses throughout the Piedmont Triad while remaining family-owned and operated. Today, we combine the technical resources to handle a wide range of security needs with the personal attention and local accountability that have shaped our company from the beginning.
Our People
With more than 50 years of combined alarm-system experience, our technicians bring knowledgeable service and careful workmanship to every project. Each Sonbert technician is licensed and bonded, completes annual recertification through the alarm licensing board and participates in continuing education each year. Beyond their technical qualifications, our people take pride in listening to customers, paying attention to the details and going the extra mile to get the job done right.
